In this video I’ll show you how to view your history and how to manage the data from the computer since you cannot delete saved activities. The best way to move your activities is to upload them to garmin connect, or to garmin training center. to manage the activities, you simply need to delete the .fit files from the activity folder on the garmin drive once you plug in your forerunner 110 into your usb port.Special thanks to Trail Shop for providing the GPS for review. Garmin Forerunner 405 / 410 – Clearing Your User Data (Hard Reset)

This is to compliment my original 405 Soft Reset video, I forgot to include the actual hard reset – where you reset your unit to factory defaults and erase all history (ie- when you want to sell your unit).

Garmin Forerunner 110 vs 405 /410 Compare Review

This is a quick compare review between a garmin forerunner 110 and a 405. Our local outfitter store, Trail Shop provided me with a demo unit and I ran with the unit for about 20 km which forms the basis of my review. I will use the 405 as the comparison. overall the device is small & sexy than the 405 and much more appealing as a wearable watch. The power save & power off feature means that you only need to charge the unit every 3 weeks. But with normal use, I seem to charge it every week. The display is nice and clean and provided the basic data fields: distance, timer, date, lap pace and heart rate. Features that this unit does not have: auto-scroll, auto-pause, courses, history management, interval training, advanced workouts, data fields customization, & navigation. While most of us don’t use a majority of these features, it is a specific runner that will find the 110 the perfect unit for them. Personally, I liked the 110 and wished it included auto-scroll & auto-pause. However if you do a lot of custom workouts, this probably won’t be the unit for you. But if you are a beginner or long distance runner with no interest in micro managing your runs, than this would fit in.Special thanks to Trail Shop for providing the GPS for review. GPS Accuracy – iPhone vs Garmin Forerunner 405 vs Garmin Legend C

This is a video experiment comparing 3 GPS devices and their accuracy in trying t get as close to a waypoint as possible. I was using an iPhone 3GS, Garmin forerunner 405 & Garmin Legend C. I entered the same coordinates to a geocache, once I found the geocache, I placed all 3 GPS next to each other to compare what was the difference in GPS between each of them.

Garmin Forerunner 305 – Auto Lap & Auto Pause

In this video, I will outline the steps required to setup your garmin forerunner 305 for auto lap & auto pause under the training options. Auto pause is a great feature when you are running steady runs with no walk breaks, but you have either stop lights or other slow down areas that you don’t want to affect your workout details like overall pace. Auto lap is used when you are not doing interval or advanced workouts, but rather doing steady runs, but you still want to have a breakdown per lap of your performance. Typically we see runners use a set distance like 800m, 1km or 1 mile. Combine these two options together and you have a great way to enjoy a steady run without bothering about interval or advanced workouts.

Click this link to view details goo.gl – Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Receiver With Heart Rate Monitor Amazon.com ReviewJust when you thought Garmin had cornered the market on powerful, affordable, and effective wrist-mounted GPS devices, here comes the Forerunner 305. The release of this device is a major achievement from a design and technology perspective. This isn’t just marketing-speak; the Forerunner 305 is the most accurate, most reliable wrist-mounted performance and GPS tracking tool we’ve ever tested. Yes, it’s that good. While no device this compact can do everything (yet), the 305 pushes the boundaries of what is possible from something strapped around your wrist. The 305 model includes wireless heartrate monitoring and it can also be connected to Garmin’s wireless bicycle speed and cadence sensor. If you don’t need these features, consider the lower-priced Forerunner 205. Click this link to view details goo.gl
