How can I download data to my garmin gps (mapsource)?

The state of South Dakota allows you to download the data from their database for hunting lands, state parks etc. for use on a gps so you know where the boundaries are. I've downloaded the data but can't figure out how to get it onto my gps. It's not in the garmin map format.

Try loading it to your SD card on your GPS. You may be able to read it from there. Garmin allows you to enter Points of Interest of your own on the SD card. Convert the information to .txt format.
