The turn by turn directions are excellent, it will always let you know when to turn. If you miss a turn, it will “recalculate” and tell you where to take your next turn in order to still continue toward your destination. Great stuff.

  • gumpreza:

If I could I would, but all I have is the original which is a 700MB AVI file…

    Hi,

BTW-I noticed the music would pause or wind down whenever the GPS system had any instructions. Is that a standard feature in this system or did you have to configure the GS system to achieve this effect?

  • gumpreza:

This is a great feature that is only available for the Kenwood units that are powered by supported Garmin add-ons (like the KNA-510G). The head unit is a Kenwood but the Garmin unit was specifically designed to work with this Kenwood unit hand-in-hand, so the volume going down is a feature built in to the Kenwood unit. Does this clarify?

  • Telletell:

Which model and size is that?

  • Telletell:

Nevermind, I found it in your description. Thanks for the video

  • Telletell:

But I would like to know, how did you get your Garmin installed like that?

Will it be hard to remove and transfer into another vehicle?

  • zabcd1:

Yes it does thanks. I am probably going to buy it then:)

Can you help with one more query pls?Can the GPS/Audio system be integrated with the steering controls?

  • gumpreza:

The two controls (volume control, channel control) are the behind the wheel and are rendered dead by any aftermarket radio. However, there are many kits out there that are about $50 which activate those controls to work with aftermarket radios. I haven’t purchased one yet but I plan to eventually.

  • s14sr:

When you upgrade the software, is it free?

  • s14sr:

    I guess not.

  • thebionicpig:

Yes it is….it would be much easier to get the Kenwood DNX model that comes with Garmin already installed.

  • tyer28:

Heyy. that looks great. Im planning on getting the Kna-g510. I have the ddx-7019. I just wanted to ask what is that song thats playing?

  • thebionicpig:

Not Over Yet by Paul Oakenfold and if I had to guess he was listening to Sirius Satellite channel 36 “the beat” Dance hits.

  • tyer28:

I listen to the beat all the time, as soon as you said paul oakenfield I was like “hmm, where have I head that name before?” lol

  • pschramko:

if you are just driving in view mode, will it still tell you the street ahead?

  • tyer28:

Hey. It will tell you the street ahead when its not navigating a route but it wont announce it…

  • s14sr:

Wow, thank you. Thats my next upgrade for my KVT. SD Card, right?

  • vikingscool:

Wow, I never seen it before. I glad GPS received
that how much speed numbers. But where is approximately address numbers are into it?!

  • thebionicpig:

Notice during the first few seconds he has the option of hitting “spell it” but instead chooses “my locations” which is already aware of a previous destination……you do have the option of spelling out address, street name etc….

  • vikingscool:

That’s great to have the option for address
number per street, that’s cool! We will ask
to city council, so they don’t need to add
address numbers put on the street-name signs.

  • thebionicpig:

    Yes Garmin is Totally free.

  • VJNYCFL:

Question Does it tell you stay on left or Right when your reaching a Fork?

  • thebionicpig:

It shows the shaded area to where your vehicle is to approach plus will inform you to stay left or right before reaching the fork itself.

  • 01Ranga:

now only if it would display the speed limit =(
