i wasn’t aware that i had a garmin account already so i created a new one and bought a .99 garmin maps update and now i can’t put it on my gps because my gps is registered to my original account. is there any way to transfer the update to the old account?

You can go to the old account delete the registration of the gps. That way you can use your new account to update your gps.
