Back Up Maps on a Garmin C330 Gps Unit?

I have a Garmin C330 GPS unit that I want to update to the 2009 mapset, but, I want to back up the 2008 set in case of any problems.

I would think that you should just be able to find it under my computer but I can’t, anyone know how to do this?

    You actually can’t back them up. Garmin is pretty paranoid about people hacking the maps and selling them/using them on extra units. If you are using a Map Update DVD then the 2008 maps will automatically be backed up.

    I just bought the Map update for my Nuvi 660 from EdgeGPS.com for $59.00 They were great.
