After Reading Some Comments It Appears People Prefer the Garmin GPS to Others.?

I bought a Tom-Tom a couple years ago and the battery didn’t last long. It will not hold a charge at all. How have Garmin owners made out in this regard with their Garmins ?

    be very careful when considering a gps and throwing out the popular brands. this can be where you are dead wrong. before buying your next gps, dont fall into the same pit that you just climbed out of with tom tom.

    consider the features and price. i got a cool looking gps for less and the battery claims to last at least an unheard of 10 hours in standby mode. i haven’t attempted to challenge it yet, but no need too because the gps device i have has not disappointed me after 6 months of use.
